Attaching and Caring For Your Zee.Dog Bow Tie
Over the years, we’ve used a few different Zee.Dog bow ties, and overall, we have found them to be very practical and easy to use. Nevertheless, some might not be sure of the best ways to attach and care for these cute products!
To attach the bow tie, all that you need to do is locate the elastic on the back of the bow. This is located in the center tie area. Lift this away from the fabric, and slide your dog’s collar through the opening. Slide the bow tie along the collar until it is located where you want it. Once you’ve successfully done that, then you’re good to go!
In case you don’t know yet, to wash the bow tie, you can actually use your washing machine! We’ve found that machine-washing these ties with warm water and a very gentle, dog-friendly detergent gets all of the dirt and grime off. Then, let them air dry. However, try not to put the bow tie in the sun to air dry, as this could cause the colors on the fabric to fade.

Sometimes, it is easier to buy a matching set than to try to find a collar that matches a bow tie! We’ve tried sets like this one for our Westie before as they are a no-fuss way to get a cohesive and stylish look without much effort.
